Plain-air

Oh wow, I sure have been neglecting this blog for a while now. Sorry about that. I'll try to post more things as this new school semester goes along. For now, here is a plain-air I did during the summer.

The spot I picked at Kelly Park kind of reminded me of the entrance from "The Secret Garden".

Lil' Red and Wolf

This was an awesome semester. One of my favorite classes, taught by Alice Carter created this new project where we had to create two paintings of forests based on Little Red Riding Hood. One is suppose to be a happy kind of scene, while the other is when the story gets darker. There was so much I learned from this project and I had a great time painting as well. Strangely, I enjoyed painting the dark forest more than the happy one...
